What the money is for.
Yamsap runs on your own computer, but some of it costs us money every month.

- Artwork, credits, biographies and release dates come from paid music databases. Your server looks up each record once and keeps the result.
- Mixes and radio
- Your server rebuilds them each night, and we keep improving how yamsap hears a record.
- Remote access
- Reaching your library away from home goes through a service we run.
- Continuous updates
- Yamsap is all we work on. The subscription pays for every update.
Questions about the money.
What happens if I stop paying?
Yamsap stops playing. Your music files stay where they are and open in any other player. If you subscribe again, your playlists, favourites and listening history are still there.
Does it need to phone home to keep working?
It checks in once a day. If it can’t reach us, it keeps working for 14 days.
How many rooms does one subscription cover?
All of them. There is no charge per room, speaker, phone or listener.
Can I move it to a different machine?
Yes. Deactivate the old server in its Settings, or from your account page if that machine no longer works, then enter your key on the new one.
Is there a lifetime option?
No. Monthly and yearly are the only plans.
What do I actually save by paying yearly?
$12 a year. Yearly is $71.88. Twelve months of the monthly plan is $83.88.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes, at any renewal.
